Winter
Winter is an adorable little spayed female ready for a foster to adopt situation. She needs one more fvrcp and her rabies vaccine. As you can see she has cuteness down and playfulness. She was fostered in a home with dogs. She is microchipped. Her date of birth is guessed at 9/23/25.
Karla
Karla has resting grumpy face but she loves to be brushed and pet. Her date of birth is guessed at 6/3/23. She's ready, spayed, microchipped, vaccines completed. She just needs time to adapt and adjust. Karla has so much to offer
Chuck
Chuck is a domestic medium hair neutered male that's microchipped and ready for foster to adopt. He's pretty independent, doesn't seem to be very interested in toys, but oh how he can purr. His date of birth is guessed to be 7/5/2025. He is not complete on his series of vaccines yet
Ozzy
Ozzy this ball of energy is ready to have adventures with you. His date of birth is guessed as 7/3/22
He weighs about 67 lbs. He is a mixed lab/retriever. Neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm and Lyme's negative on 7/3/25. He is happy and fun. His energy is infectious
Loki
Loki....oh Loki. He's a large brindle mix of something else. He weighs in at almost 80 lbs and he certainly has some layers to unpack. He likes toys and had a small dog friend who ran the whole thing, but Loki has some resource guarding issues. He absolutely won't be placed in a home with young children. His date of birth is 10/1/2024. We are hoping to start to generate interest while we continue to work with our friend. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm on 10/22/25 but was Lyme's positive.
Mister
Mister, oh my gosh. I think he is a thief because he is stealing my heart. Current weight is 93 lbs, he is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, he has lived with other dogs, his date of birth is 11/5/24. Breeds listed are Croation Rottie, black lab, Aussie, Staffie. He loves to ride in vehicles. He doesn't seem to mind cats.
Please note he tested heartworm negative but Lyme's positive on 11/5/2025 and has been treated. Please research Lyme's disease positive dogs before submitting an application.
Snoop Dawg
Snoop Dawg needs a safe place to stay. He so very much deserves to be loved. He unfortunately hasn't ever been championed or advocated for. He knows how to crate, how to avoid people because he had previously been so mistreated. But there is a dog who so wants to snuggle, so wants to believe and hope that life can be better. Genetically he got the short end of the stick as well, he is on pain meds which will be provided. If you are interested please contact us for a discussion. Snoop Dawg would do best in a home with no small children, a quiet home, one with experience with dogs who have been mistreated. We are assisting Alger Animal County Control/Shelter with placement because we adore Snoop Dawg. Oh did we mention he smiles? He weighs about 67#, his date of birth is guessed as 4/22/23.
Hank
Hank's date of birth is 11/22/24, he weighs about 65 lbs and he is neutered, microchipped and current on everything. He is a tad rough around the edges, he lacks boundaries and socialization. He lived with small dogs and loves baby talk, he doesn't yet have good leash manners, but ...... he is smart, he does want to please, he just doesn't know how. We are working with him currently and are hoping to grow a #teamhank following because it really does take a team. He is slower to warm to men than women. King- AVAILABLE SOON
King is our newest insecure friend. We are working with him so try to find his inner confidence . Unfortunately he wasn't treated well and wasn't socialized. He is learning treats are a positive thing in life and office time is a happy place. Leash manners are a totally new experience. He is a work in progress, and he will soon be neutered and microchipped. He is a lovely brindle bully mix. His date of birth is guessed at 12/5/22. Please keep your eye open for our friend King. Currently he weighs about 66 lbs.
